Your California Privacy Rights

Residents of the State of California, under California Civil Code § 1798.83, have the right to request from companies conducting business in California a list of all third parties to which the company has disclosed personal information during the preceding year for direct marketing purposes. Alternatively, the law provides that if the company has a privacy policy that gives either an opt-out or opt-in choice for use of your personal information by third parties (such as advertisers) for marketing purposes, the company may instead provide you with information on how to exercise your disclosure choice options.

Optimum Dosing Strategies qualifies for the alternative option. We have a comprehensive privacy statement, and provide you with details on how you may either opt-out or opt-in to the use of your personal information by third parties for direct marketing purposes. Therefore, we are not required to maintain or disclose a list of the third parties that received your personal information for marketing purposes during the preceding year.

Opting-Out and Unsubscribing

If you provide us with your Personal Information, you have the following rights with respect to that information:

To review the user information that you have supplied to us

To request that we correct any errors, outdated information, or omissions in user information that you have supplied to us

To request that your user information not be used to contact you

To request that your user information be removed from any solicitation list that we use

To request that your user information be deleted from our records

To otherwise opt out of receiving solicitations

Data Security

(source: https://docs.rstudio.com/shinyapps.io/index.html)

Each app is deployed into its own container on servers used by Rstudio and shinyapps.io services, and the network access between containers is tightly controlled. All access to the apps is over SSL.

The design of the shinyapps.io system allows to enforce security at the file system and operating system levels. The storage for each container is not permanent, hence we push the data into our own password protected data storage where it is stored encrypted using the Libsodium library standard.

shinyapps.io, the computational background use for our services, is currently hosted on Amazon’s Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the us-east-1 region. The infrastructure used is not a HIPAA-compliant stack.

Third Party Vendors. Some of the vendors we use that may collect Personal Information on our behalf are as follows:

Shinyapps.io via RStudio: We use RStudio services in conjunction with Shinyapps.io to provide on-line support for our high level computational background. Read RStudio’s privacy policy here: https:// RStudio.com/about/privacy-policy/

PayPal: We use PayPal services to process payments for the use of our services. Read Optimum Dosing Strategies’s privacy policy here: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/ua/privacy-full
